内容提要

In recent years,the earth science research has an important character,that is a shifting to the systematic,integrated,organized,capable,technology-based,platform-based and digitalized research.In 2014,the development of Earth Science highlights the characteristics of research ideas,basic research,applied research and platform facilities construction:the scientists made great achievements in the deep earth exploration and internal evolution,planet earth and continental crust formation,solid earth interactions,the origin and evolution of life,the air component formation mechanism;and paid attention to available mineral resources,earth science research in space,development of energy-related environmental risk research,and the Arctic research aspects.
